So, it commissioned researchers to interview 2,000 Brits about how they feel on their birthdays.
July 28 was chosen as the happiest birthday and while 2,000 people isn't a large pool the results took into account contributing factors like chance of sunshine, the proximity to payday, and that summer loving feeling.

16? Too bad.
That day ranked the lowest because of the cold and its proximity to Christmas, which a third of subjects felt overshadowed their big days.
Across the board summer months dominated, while winter birthdays seemed a little blue.
Still, brand manager, Bethany Day told The Irish World, "all birthdays are special.
